LAKE ERIE BASS FISHING CHARTER GUIDES
Lake Erie's eastern basin at the doorstep of Buffalo, NY is one of the top trophy small mouth bass hotspots in the nation. Providing anglers with the opportunity to catch trophy fish day after day. Each year, a few fish are breaking the seven pound mark.
Spring fishing on Lake Erie can be some of the most exciting angling you will ever experience. Water temps rise through the 50’s and Lake Erie is booming with fish. We fish the Buffalo Harbor break walls and the popular South Shore from 10-25 feet of water using tube jigs, jerk bait, spinners and live bait.

Starting in May, good numbers of bass can be found just outside the city of Buffalo's harbor walls in Lake Erie. Five and six pound bass are common. As Lake Erie warms we move to the shore lines, rock piles and humps in 12-40 feet of water. Once the bass are located, your guide will best advise you and provide for you the best methods and baits needed to have a productive day of bass fishing.
Some of the common bass fishing techniques, employed here on the Eastern basin of Lake Erie, are live bait fishing with shiners and/or crawfish, throwing tube jigs, drop-shotting, reefs and rock piles, and casting spinner baits.
